Matthew Jay Rucinski is a native of Akron, Ohio. From unconventional beginnings during a global pandemic, Matthew began his photography career shooting the beautiful nature in the Cuyahoga River Valley in Northeast Ohio on 35mm film.
This is a collection of his works ranging from nature, portrait and event photography — a portfolio outlining life through many lenses in the Akron and Cleveland, Ohio area. Through the pandemic to shortly after mass vaccinations began, his love for the art has only grown.
Matthew has a love for the thrill of the shot and an appreciation for the capture of a moment in time on film.
